Worldscape, a Redmond, Washington-based AI-native Decision Advantage Platform, has raised $10 million in seed extension funding led by Scout Ventures with participation from Radius Capital. The platform unifies distributed data, AI agents, simulation, 3D physics, and geospatial intelligence into a single real-time operating picture for defense, enterprise, and government customers. The capital will expand engineering, AI research, secure cloud deployments, and the marketplace ecosystem.

Defense AI Spending Accelerates Platform Demand

The timing aligns with surging defense technology investment. NODA AI raised $28 million Series A in February 2026 led by Bessemer Venture Partners. World Labs secured $1 billion in February 2026. Worldscape's approach fuses game-engine technology with enterprise data orchestration to enable agentic simulations that run hours of operations in seconds.

Data Overload Slows Critical Decisions

Organizations face exponential growth in sensor and satellite data across multiple domains. Current solutions either force centralized migration or lack real-time multi-domain simulation. Worldscape deploys into existing customer environments including IL2-IL7 and air-gapped systems without requiring data relocation.

Game Engine Powers Agentic Simulations

Worldscape built a horizontal platform that ingests disparate data sources into a physics-informed world model. AI agents train via rewards-based reinforcement learning on the same 3D stack that powers Minecraft. This enables ranked courses of action with measurable outcomes for mission planning, logistics, and sensor tasking. The platform supports both defense workflows such as ISR and kill chain orchestration and enterprise use cases including supply chain optimization and digital twins.

"We train artificial intelligence on a video game stack to achieve very specific actions with agents so they can orchestrate a complex skill chain or supply chain or complex intelligence sensor tasking." — Mark Bolz, CEO of Worldscape

Scout Ventures Leads Second Close

Scout Ventures led both the initial $6 million seed in March 2026 and the $10 million extension in August 2026. Radius Capital participated in the extension while Washington Harbour Partners joined the first close. The repeated backing signals conviction in Worldscape's dual-use positioning and its ability to operate across classified environments.

Geospatial Intelligence Market Expands Rapidly

The geospatial intelligence market stands at $37.1 billion in 2026 and is projected to reach $62.9 billion by 2030. Broader AI in defense spending is forecast to grow from $8.5 billion to $32.8 billion by 2031. Structural drivers include Pentagon mandates for AI-first operations and the shift from data collection to real-time decision advantage across land, air, sea, space, and cyber domains.

Veteran Leadership Builds Credibility

CEO Mark Bolz, a former U.S. Marine with 14 years at Microsoft and AWS, leads a team drawn from Xbox, Meta, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, and Google. Two recent hires bring 30-plus years of defense experience each. This combination of big-tech product depth and military operational expertise positions Worldscape to navigate classified procurement cycles.

Engineering Expansion and Marketplace Launch Ahead

With deployments supporting Department of War and Department of Energy initiatives, Worldscape plans to grow engineering and AI research teams while accelerating its public marketplace for data sources, agents, and applications.
