The round welcomed ENEA Tech and Biomedical as a strategic investor. WISE's proprietary Supersonic Technology produces soft, flexible electrodes that conform better to neural tissue than rigid conventional designs for neuromonitoring and neuromodulation applications. The capital will advance the Heron lead through regulatory certification and first-in-human studies while scaling commercialization of the WISE Cortical Strip.

The timing aligns with Europe's Medical Device Regulation transition. WISE became the first cortical strip for intraoperative neuromonitoring to achieve CE mark under MDR in July 2025. WISE Cortical Strip is commercially available across Europe, the US, and Australia with MDR, FDA, and TGA clearances. Its Heron lead combines the directional precision of surgical paddle leads with percutaneous minimally invasive delivery for spinal cord stimulation in chronic pain. This eliminates the need for open surgery while maintaining targeted stimulation coverage.

The neuromodulation market stands at $6.67–6.81 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach $10.68–10.93 billion by 2030. Spinal cord stimulation accounts for roughly 45 percent of revenue. WISE competes with established players Medtronic, Abbott, and Boston Scientific in stimulation alongside monitoring incumbents. Its platform spans monitoring, stimulation, and future brain-computer interface uses from a single stretchable electrode technology.
