Tequipy Raises €3M Seed for Global IT Hardware Lifecycle

Tequipy raised €3M seed led by Smedvig Ventures for global IT hardware lifecycle management across 180+ countries using local sourcing and Slack-native automation.

Tequipy, a Poland-based provider of global IT hardware lifecycle management, has raised €3M in seed funding. The platform sources devices locally in 180+ countries via 600+ resellers, pre-configures them for MDM systems like Jamf and Intune, and manages repairs, offboarding, storage, and buyback at retail price plus a 5% fee. The capital will expand its software and security automation layers.

Remote Work Infrastructure Spending Surges

The timing aligns with explosive growth in remote workplace services. The market stood at $46.94B in 2026 and is projected to reach $114B by 2030. Tequipy's no-contract, pay-per-use model addresses gaps left by broader HR platforms that treat hardware as an add-on.

Manual Logistics Drain IT Teams

Global hiring teams lose 25-100 hours monthly to device procurement, customs delays, and offboarding failures. Spreadsheets and local vendors produce inconsistent results, with standard on-time delivery rates around 58%. Companies expanding across borders face bank blocks, lost devices, and compliance risks under GDPR.

Full Lifecycle Automation at Scale

Tequipy built a Slack-native platform that delivers devices in three days on average while achieving 99% recovery rates on offboarding. It differs from competitors by sourcing locally to avoid duties, offering flat-fee pricing without minimums, and covering 180 countries through 600+ partners. An AI Agent now automates password resets and access grants directly in messaging tools.

As founder Tomek Stawarski noted:

"I’ve seen ambitious, talented IT specialists… end up repacking boxes."

Smedvig Ventures Leads Polish-Backed Round

Smedvig Ventures led the round alongside Manta Ray and Unfold.vc. Earlier participation from Unfold.vc in a €700k round in 2025 signals sustained conviction from operators focused on B2B efficiency. The syndicate brings domain expertise in scaling SaaS and cybersecurity.

Remote Workplace Services Expand Rapidly

The broader remote workplace services market is growing at 24.8% CAGR, driven by hybrid work and regulatory demands. Tequipy's positioning as a pure-play hardware specialist contrasts with integrated platforms like Deel and Rippling that bundle device management with payroll. Its ISO 27001 certification and GDPR compliance provide additional trust for regulated industries.

Ex-Revolut Operators Bring Domain Credibility

The company was founded by former Revolut IT leaders who scaled operations from 100 to 5,000 employees without losing devices. This experience informs the 100% recovery rate and focus on eliminating 80% of manual IT tasks.

Platform Momentum Builds Post-Funding

With deployments supporting 150+ companies including Booksy and ICEYE, Tequipy is hiring senior backend engineers to accelerate AI features. The recent #24 ranking on the Scaling Europe 50 list underscores its 565% growth trajectory.
