Tekst Raises €11.5M Series A for Process Intelligence

Tekst, a Ghent, Belgium-based process intelligence platform, has raised €11.5M ($13.5M) in Series A funding led by Elephant, with participation from Entourage. The platform maps real enterprise workflows from unstructured communications like emails, tickets, and chats across tools such as Outlook, Salesforce, and SAP. The capital will fuel product development, engineering hires, and US expansion.

Agentic Funding Wave Hits Europe

The round arrives amid rising investor interest in AI process tools. Noreja raised €1.1M seed in April 2026 for GenAI process mining. Tekst's focus on unstructured data sources positions it to automate workflows where traditional process mining falls short using structured event logs.

Undocumented Processes Stall AI

Enterprise processes often reside in emails, PDFs, and employee knowledge, undocumented in systems. This creates a bottleneck for AI agents, with 95% of enterprise AI projects failing due to lack of business context. Current RPA and process mining tools rely on structured data, missing the bulk of real operations hidden in communications.

Mapping Chaos into Executable Graphs

Tekst builds context graphs from unstructured comms, enabling agentic AI to execute end-to-end workflows like quote-to-cash and accounts payable. Unlike Celonis, which uses event logs, or UiPath's rule-based bots, Tekst derives intelligence directly from text for integrations with 25+ tools including SAP S/4HANA and ServiceNow.

Customers like Securex achieve 90% email routing accuracy on 3.2M emails annually, while Milcobel sees 200% faster responses on 250K emails.

As Wouter Janssen, CEO noted:

"They live in emails, in PDFs, in people's heads. Our process intelligence technology surfaces all of it. Without that, an AI agent is just an expensive assistant or a glorified chatbot."

Elephant Validates Unstructured Bet

Elephant, a US investor, led the round, signaling conviction in Tekst's text-native approach for the agentic era. Entourage doubled down from a prior €2M investment. This mix of growth capital backs Tekst's shift from Belgian roots to US market entry, with named customers like Becton Dickinson, FrieslandCampina, and Nokia providing validation.

Process Mining Explodes to $58B

The intelligent process automation market stands at $21B with 17% CAGR per The Business Research Company. Process mining software will grow from $3.66B in 2025 to $58.18B by 2034 at 49% CAGR initially according to Fortune Business Insights. Trends toward agentic AI and unstructured data handling drive capital into players bridging visibility to execution.

Doubling Down on Engineering

Post-funding, Tekst plans to double headcount from 35 to 70 by year-end, prioritizing engineering roles. Recent integrations like SAP S/4HANA and Infor M3, plus US expansion, target complex sectors including manufacturing, logistics, and MedTech. With 20+ enterprise customers, the focus shifts to scaling agentic automations globally.
