Talentir, a Vienna-based financial infrastructure platform for the creative industry, has raised €4 million in seed funding led by Redstone VC with Inovia Capital, Shapers, Tenity, and others. The company automates global payouts, reconciliation, compliance, and yield generation on creator revenues using AI and stablecoin rails. The capital will support scaling to €100M in annual payout volume.
Payout Infrastructure Lags Creator Boom
The timing aligns with explosive creator economy growth. YouTube paid out over $70B to creators in three years while platforms like TikTok Shop scale payouts rapidly. Competitors include Tipalti, which raised over $550M and reached an $8.3B valuation in its 2021 Series F, and Trolley, which closed a $7M Series A in December 2021. Talentir differentiates through instant stablecoin settlement and yield on idle balances rather than traditional banking rails.
Creator Payout Friction Costs Time and Talent
Agencies report that creator payments consume up to 70% of finance team time. The company processes millions in daily payouts with only six employees while serving 10,000+ active creators and 100M+ monthly views across its network. Current solutions force creators to wait weeks or months and force agencies into manual spreadsheets and reconciliation.
Stablecoin Rails Enable Instant Settlement
Talentir built an AI-powered autonomous payout engine that handles self-billing invoices, automated revenue splits, DATEV exports, and compliance as a Merchant of Record across 60+ currencies. It settles in seconds via bank transfer, PayPal, Venmo, USDC, and EURC on Base, unlike competitors that take one to five days.
As CEO Lukas Steiner noted:
"We are the only ones on the planet that do this. Nobody else has a full crypto backend running underneath all of it."
The platform also generates 6-12% yield on idle AdSense balances through DeFi protocols, turning payouts from a cost center into a revenue driver.
Redstone and Inovia Validate Infrastructure Thesis
Redstone VC led the oversubscribed SAFE round, joined by Inovia Capital whose partners include former Google CFO Patrick Pichette and former Deliveroo CFO Raif Jacobs. Earlier backers such as Bitpanda CEO Eric Demuth doubled down. The investor mix signals strong conviction in the B2B creator payout infrastructure opportunity.
Creator Economy Payments Market Expands Rapidly
The creator economy stands at $250B in 2025 and is projected to reach $480B by 2027. The broader B2B payments market is expected to grow from $1.42T in 2025 to $3.43T by 2031. Lumanu raised $17M in its July 2021 Series A while Payoneer trades publicly with a $2.37B market cap. Talentir's combination of Merchant-of-Record responsibility, stablecoin settlement, and yield generation has no direct equivalent among these players.
Team Eyes Headcount Growth and Volume Targets
Talentir plans to double its six-person team by the end of 2026 while targeting €100M in annual payout volume. The company recently secured Swiss SRO membership recognized by FINMA and expanded into South America through a partnership with Hashrate Agency.
