Range , a Zug, Switzerland-based intelligence, risk, and compliance platform for cross-chain stablecoin infrastructure, has raised $8.3M in Series A funding. The platform unifies treasury management across fiat and digital assets for fintechs, issuers, and custodians with real-time aggregation, sanctions screening, AML enforcement, and portfolio risk monitoring. The capital will expand engineering and go-to-market teams while extending network integrations.
Stablecoin-Fiat Convergence Draws Investor Mix
The timing comes amid accelerating stablecoin adoption. Range's approach unifies treasury and pre-execution compliance across both rails, addressing a gap where competitors focus either on custody, post-hoc analytics, or fiat payments alone.
Legacy Controls Fail at Blockchain Speed
Stablecoins settle in seconds with no reversibility. Finance teams still rely on business-day screening logic, leaving exposure during the critical window before transactions broadcast. Range tracks 99.41% of all stablecoin payments across 200+ networks, highlighting the scale of flows that current fragmented tools cannot monitor end-to-end.
Unified Ledger Plus Pre-Execution Controls
Range built Unify as a real-time ledger across 10,000+ banks, custodians, and wallets, paired with Protect, a pre-execution screening layer for sanctions, fraud, and Travel Rule. Faraday, its transaction engine, routes stablecoins while embedding risk checks in a single API call. This differs from point solutions that require separate vendors for treasury, compliance, and custody.
"Stablecoins and fiat are converging, and finance teams need one platform to run both safely and at scale. The hard part was never moving stablecoins. It was keeping control of them," said Range CEO Andres Monteoliva.
Fintech and Crypto VCs Signal Convergence Thesis
TX Ventures and Maven 11 led the round, with participation from SixThirty Ventures, Onigiri Capital, and the Stellar Development Foundation. The investor mix validates Range's positioning at the intersection of traditional finance infrastructure and crypto-native rails. Total funding now stands at $11M following a $2.7M seed in 2024.
Digital Asset Treasury Market Expands Rapidly
The digital asset treasury management market stood at $4.8B in 2025 and is projected to reach $22.6B by 2034. Stablecoin market cap crossed $321B in Q1 2026, with adjusted transaction volume hitting $10.9T in 2025. Range protects over $30B in customer AUM and screens tens of billions in monthly volume.
Competitors such as Fireblocks, TRM Labs, Chainalysis, Modern Treasury, and BVNK operate in adjacent spaces but lack Range's native unification of fiat and stablecoin with pre-execution controls.
Security Expertise Informs Product Design
Co-founder Andres Monteoliva previously worked as a Rust security auditor and bug bounty hunter whose efforts protected over $300M. This domain depth shaped Range's Solana Transaction Security Standard and real-time threat monitoring capabilities now used by the Solana Foundation.
Engineering and Sales Expansion Underway
Range is actively hiring senior engineers, an institutional sales lead, and account managers. The platform recently integrated as the compliance layer for the Solana Developer Platform, used by Mastercard, Worldpay, and Western Union.
