Luxonis, a Denver-based builder of edge AI vision platforms, has raised $14M in Series A funding led by Denali Growth Partners with participation from Taiwania Capital. The company combines OAK stereo depth cameras, up to 52 TOPS on-device compute, and the open-source DepthAI SDK into a self-contained perception system for robots and automated equipment. The capital will expand supply chain capacity, advance the OAK 4 ecosystem, and grow R&D and go-to-market teams.
Physical AI Funding Draws New Capital
The timing aligns with rising investor interest in physical AI infrastructure. RealSense secured $50M Series A in July 2025 after spinning out from Intel. Ouster acquired Stereolabs for roughly $35M in February 2026. Luxonis differentiates by delivering stereo depth, AI inference, and video encoding entirely on-camera without requiring a host computer.
On-Device Compute Addresses Latency Gaps
Current industrial vision systems often depend on external GPUs or cloud processing, introducing latency and bandwidth costs that limit real-time decision making in robotics. Luxonis targets this gap with cameras that run multiple neural models simultaneously on-device while maintaining IP67 durability and factory calibration.
Self-Contained Cameras Replace Host PCs
The OAK 4 series, launched in December 2025, integrates a Qualcomm QCS8550 processor delivering 52 TOPS, stereo depth via LENS neural models, and Luxonis Hub for fleet management and OTA updates. Unlike RealSense or Stereolabs cameras that require separate compute hardware, OAK devices operate as standalone Linux computers. The DepthAI SDK has surpassed 6 million downloads, supporting rapid integration across 110 countries and customers that include 60 Fortune 500 companies.

Concrete Expansion Plans Underway
With the new funding Luxonis intends to scale OAK 4 production, introduce devices for agriculture, defense, and medtech verticals, and strengthen its NVIDIA Isaac Sim integration announced in June 2026. The company already serves 17 Dow Jones 30 members and maintains six global offices.
