Lemrock Raises €6M Seed for Agentic Commerce Infra

Lemrock raised €6M ($7M) seed led by Galion.exe for agentic commerce infrastructure. Enables 60+ brands to sell via AI agents like ChatGPT with catalog integration and real-time insights.

Emel Kavaloglu

Lemrock, a Paris-based agentic commerce infrastructure provider, has raised €6M ($7M) in seed funding led by Galion.exe. The platform enables brands and retailers to ingest product catalogs, structure them for LLMs, and sell directly within AI-driven environments on platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude. The capital will accelerate product development, hiring, and expansion across Europe and the US.

Big Tech Fuels Agentic Commerce Race

The round arrives as agentic commerce gains momentum, with Stripe launching its Agentic Commerce Suite in December 2025 and Mastercard introducing Verifiable Intent standards in March 2026. Constructor.io has raised $115M for AI-powered site search, while Vambe secured $14M for conversational sales agents. Lemrock differentiates by focusing on catalog integration for external LLM platforms, addressing brands' need for visibility in AI queries amid shifting discovery patterns.

AI Shift Erodes Traditional Traffic

Brands face 30% traffic declines as consumers turn to AI agents for discovery, with LLMs processing billions of queries yearly. Retailers lack the expertise to build complex stacks for real-time pricing, availability, and transactions in conversational environments. Current on-site tools fail to capture off-platform AI interactions, leaving brands without control over presence and margins.

Catalog Middleware Powers LLM Sales

Lemrock provides one-click integration to structure catalogs for AI agents, enabling hyper-personalization and intent-based matching. Unlike Constructor.io's on-site focus or Skyfire's payments emphasis, Lemrock handles end-to-end infrastructure including proprietary models trained on millions of data points. Brands like Maisons du Monde, Cdiscount, and Fnac Darty use it to manage 100M+ monthly interactions and 10M+ live products.

As Roxane Laigle, Co-Founder & CEO, noted:

"Conversational commerce reverses the logic: it’s no longer the customer searching for the product; it’s the right product coming to the right customer."

Retail Experts Validate Seed Bet

Galion.exe, with investments in AI infrastructure like Eden AI and Dialog, led the round, signaling conviction in agentic tools. Jean-Baptiste Rudelle, Criteo founder who IPO'd at $2B+ market cap, joins the board, while angels from Veepee, Decathlon-acquired Alltricks, and Alan unicorn add e-commerce domain expertise. This mix of deeptech VC and operator angels positions Lemrock for B2B scaling with 60+ brands already onboarded.

Conversational Market Scales to Billions

Conversational commerce stands at $14.11B in 2026, projected to reach $18.39B by 2030 at 9% CAGR per The Business Research Company. McKinsey eyes $1T in US B2C retail via agents by 2030. Competitors like Shakudo ($41M) target internal ops, but Lemrock captures external LLM distribution as 98 startups race in the space.

YC Repeat Founders Drive Deeptech

Co-founders Roxane Laigle (ex-Fnac Darty Strategy Director leading AI pilots), Sasha Collin, and Clément Nguyen (YC S24 repeat from Mindely AI agents, ex-McKinsey/Rakuten ML) blend retail strategy with AI engineering. Their prior YC venture built real-time voice AI, directly informing agentic commerce infrastructure. Recent hires like ex-BCG Head of Strategy and Tech M&A Chief of Staff bolster scaling.

Hiring Spree Targets US Growth

Post-funding, Lemrock joined Agoranov deeptech incubator and launched proprietary models. Aggressive hiring—including AI Research Engineer, Tech Lead, and operations roles—supports 10x team growth. With live deployments across Europe and US, the focus shifts to national expansion and protocol support amid OpenAI and Perplexity commerce features.
