Interchecks, a Brooklyn-based instant payment infrastructure platform, has raised $50 million in Series C funding. The platform enables businesses to send and receive money through a single RESTful API supporting Push to Card, RTP, ACH, PayPal, Venmo, and checks. The capital will expand technology depth, team growth, and product capabilities including the new Account Funding Transactions feature.
Real-Time Payments Market Accelerates
The timing aligns with surging demand for instant rails. Moov raised $45M Series B in January 2023, while Tipalti secured $200M debt in September 2025. Interchecks differentiates by covering the full funding-to-payout lifecycle in one integration, targeting high-compliance sectors like online gaming.
Gaming and EWA Drive Demand
Sports betting legalization and earned wage access platforms require reliable real-time money movement. Interchecks powers FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, and Fanatics Sportsbook, and enabled the first real-time EWA payouts for ZayZoon. The company has processed over $50B in transactions with 99.99% uptime.
Single API Covers Full Lifecycle
Interchecks built one API for both deposits via debit card or pay-by-bank and instant or same-day withdrawals. This contrasts with competitors focused on either payouts or global AP automation. The recent Account Funding Transactions launch completes the loop, allowing real-time debit card funding alongside existing rails.
As Interchecks noted in its announcement:
"This raise is fuel to go deeper on our technology, grow our team, and expand what's possible for our clients."
Bettor Capital Leads Growth Round
The round was led by Bettor Capital, Commerce Ventures, Decades Holdings, and Thayer Street Partners. Bettor Capital's vertical focus on gaming technology signals conviction in Interchecks' core market, while the broader syndicate brings growth capital for multi-vertical expansion.
Instant Payments Market Scales Rapidly
Global real-time payments are projected to grow from $48.61B in 2025 to $65.82B in 2026, reaching $288.50B by 2033. The US market is expected to expand from $0.46B in 2026 to $2.29B by 2031 at 38.12% CAGR. Instant payments overall are forecast at $37.8B in 2025 to $159.5B by 2035.
Workforce Expansion Underway
Interchecks currently has around 50 employees and is hiring a Senior Manager of FP&A following the round. The company plans to significantly increase headcount to support technology and product initiatives.
