inforcer, a UK-based multi-tenant Microsoft 365 policy management platform for MSPs, has raised $50M in Series C funding led by Insight Partners. The platform enables managed service providers to sell, secure, and support Microsoft 365 and Copilot across multiple client tenants from a single centralized dashboard. The capital will accelerate AI-driven product development and global expansion.

Insight Partners Validates MSP Security Play

The timing comes amid rising AI threats to SMBs through Microsoft 365. Existing backers Dawn Capital and Meritech Capital also participated, signaling continued conviction. inforcer's approach focuses on proactive policy standardization and drift prevention rather than solely detection.

Configuration Drift Risks SMB Data

Microsoft's continuous monthly policy changes make ongoing drift monitoring essential for MSPs. Native M365 security configuration proves insufficient as enterprises adopt AI tools like Copilot, creating new attack surfaces. MSPs face pressure to deliver enterprise-grade security to SMB customers amid regulatory requirements.

Policy Standardization Meets Threat Response

inforcer combines comprehensive multi-tenant policy management across the entire Microsoft 365 stack with Copilot readiness assessments and governance. It recently launched inforcer TDR to cover both prevention and detection. This differs from competitors that focus primarily on active threat detection without deep policy deployment.

"As AI adoption grows throughout the enterprise, securing and driving AI readiness across productivity platforms is crucial for MSPs."

As Matt Koran, Principal at Insight Partners, noted:

Tier-1 Investors Signal Category Validation

Insight Partners led the round with a focus on cybersecurity and AI. Dawn Capital, which led the prior $35M Series B, and Meritech Capital both doubled down. The investor mix validates inforcer's position at the intersection of cybersecurity, AI governance, and IT management for MSPs.

SSPM Market Accelerates with AI Adoption

The SaaS Security Posture Management market is projected to grow from $484M in 2025 to $3.53B by 2030 at a 48.7% CAGR. Managed security services are expanding as MSPs shift from break-fix models to standardized security-as-a-service. AI-enhanced threats drive demand for hardened M365 configurations.
