InduPro, a Seattle- and Cambridge-based biotechnology company, has raised $77 million in Series B funding led by The Column Group. The firm maps protein neighborhoods on cell surfaces to discover novel co-target pairs called Tumor-Associated Proximity Antigens (TAPAs), enabling first-in-class bispecific ADCs, T-cell engagers, and multispecific antibodies for cancer and autoimmune diseases. The capital will advance its pipeline, including the ongoing Phase 1 trial of lead candidate IDP-001.
Proximity Biology Gains Pharma Backing
The timing aligns with surging interest in spatial biology platforms. Lilly committed up to $950 million in a January 2026 collaboration with InduPro for up to three oncology targets. Sanofi made a strategic investment and entered a research collaboration in December 2025 for an autoimmune PD-1 agonist program. InduPro's approach of identifying spatially co-localized protein pairs on diseased cells addresses a gap left by traditional target discovery focused solely on expression levels.
On-Target Off-Tumor Toxicity Limits Current ADCs
Many tumor antigens appear on healthy tissue, restricting dosing and clinical impact of existing antibody-drug conjugates. InduPro's TAPA discovery identifies pairs that exist only in tumor microenvironments, potentially widening the therapeutic window. Its lead program IDP-001 pairs EGFR with a novel TAPA-E1 antigen and has entered Phase 1 for squamous non-small cell lung cancer.
Platform Maps Spatial Relationships for New Targets
InduPro's MInt platform uses AI and machine learning to build a Membrane Interactomics database that reveals previously invisible co-target opportunities. This differs from competitors such as Genmab and Zymeworks, which focus on engineering known bispecific formats rather than discovering new target pairs through proximity mapping. The company also maintains internal antibody discovery capabilities and multi-specific antibody technology.
"For decades, therapeutic target selection has largely been driven by expression, identifying proteins that are present on diseased cells. At InduPro, we believe an additional layer of biology is needed: understanding how proteins are spatially organized and function together on the cell surface."
Column Group Leads Round with Strategic Partners
The Column Group led the $77 million Series B, joined by Vida Ventures, MRL Ventures Fund, Emerson Collective, Euclidean Capital, Solasta Ventures, Sanofi, and Eli Lilly. The participation of two major pharmaceutical companies alongside dedicated life-science investors signals both scientific validation and potential future partnership pathways.
Bispecific Market Expands into Autoimmune Indications
The global bispecific antibodies market is projected at $9.8B–$25.9B in 2026 and expected to reach $22.4B–$110.3B by 2030. Growth is driven by clinical validation of the modality, advances in spatial biology tools, and big pharma's need for differentiated mechanisms. InduPro's dual focus on oncology and autoimmune programs through PD-1 agonism positions it across two large therapeutic areas.
Leadership Adds Clinical Development Experience
In May 2026, InduPro appointed Amanda J. Redig, MD, PhD, as Chief Medical Officer. Redig previously served as SVP of Clinical Development at HotSpot Therapeutics, worked on the investment team at Blackstone Life Sciences, and supported more than 40 assets at Takeda. The hire strengthens the company's transition from preclinical platform to clinical-stage developer.
Clinical Milestones and Manufacturing Readiness Signal Next Phase
With the first patient dosed in the IDP-001 Phase 1 study and a manufacturing partnership established with Lonza, InduPro has moved from discovery to early clinical execution. The company continues to advance additional programs including IDP-003 in collaboration with Sanofi.
