Decade, a Brazil-based AI-native wealth advisory, has raised $85M in seed funding. The platform combines proprietary AI with human advisors to deliver consolidated portfolio views, 24/7 monitoring, and personalized recommendations via Open Finance, without requiring asset transfers. The capital will support product development and gradual client onboarding in Brazil.
Largest Seed Round in Latin America
The timing aligns with a surge in AI-driven fintech. Warren Investimentos raised roughly $100M across rounds including a $60M Series C in 2021, while Nomad secured $61M in Series B funding in 2023. Decade's approach — AI-native monitoring paired with human advisors — targets gaps in traditional models that serve only the ultra-wealthy or rely on conflicted commission structures.
Fragmented Visibility for Mass Affluent
Affluent Brazilians face fragmented account data across banks and brokerages, with only one-third holding investments and just 7% able to live off retirement savings. Traditional private banks focus on the top 0.1%, while digital platforms lack real-time, holistic intelligence. Brazil's Open Finance rules now enable aggregation, but most tools stop at basic brokerage.
AI Plus Human Advisor Hybrid
Decade consolidates accounts, real estate, and offshore assets into one view. Its AI monitors for risk, fees, and tax issues continuously, while a dedicated human advisor handles complex decisions via WhatsApp or video. This differs from robo-advisors that automate allocation or human-only firms limited by scale.
As CEO Vitor Olivier noted:
"We want to bring the experience that an ultra-high-net-worth customer has to a much broader audience."
Greenoaks Leads Record Seed
Greenoaks led the round, with participation from Benchmark, Diffusion, Norte Ventures, and Atlantico. The backing from firms known for Stripe and Uber signals conviction in AI collapsing information asymmetry in wealth management. The round, completed in September 2025 but announced after stealth, exceeds prior Latin American seed records.
Wealthtech Market Expands Rapidly
Global robo-advisory markets are projected to grow at 22-30% CAGR through 2030, while Brazil's robo-advisory software segment shows 17% CAGR. Incumbents like BTG Pactual and XP Investimentos dominate high-end or commission-driven models. Decade's zero-conflict, AI-first structure positions it for the mass affluent underserved by both legacy banks and basic platforms.
Nubank Alumni Build Next Layer
Co-founder and CEO Vitor Olivier built NuConta as one of Nubank's first engineers and later served as CTO. Co-founder Felipe Meneses founded Hyperplane, an AI company acquired by Nubank, and was the first Brazilian Thiel Fellow. Their experience scaling Latin America's largest digital bank informs Decade's tech-first approach.
Brazil-First Execution
The company has integrations with BTG Pactual, XP, Genial, and C6 Bank. It operates under CVM investment consulting license while seeking asset manager authorization and manages several billion reais experimentally from early clients. With 26 employees, Decade plans deliberate rollout after perfecting the experience before scaling.
