CeQur Raises $100M Series E for Wearable Insulin Patch

CeQur raised $100M Series E to scale its CeQur Simplicity 4-day wearable insulin patch for mealtime dosing. The round follows strong commercial traction and recent FDA clearances.

CeQur, via its myceqursimplicity.com platform, has raised $100 million in Series E funding. The company manufactures CeQur Simplicity, a discreet wearable insulin patch for on-demand mealtime dosing that replaces up to 12 daily injections over four days with a simple one-click mechanism. The capital will accelerate commercial growth, field sales expansion, and development of a 7-day wear version.

Patch Pump Category Attracts Fresh Capital

The timing aligns with concentrated funding in wearable insulin patches. Luna Diabetes raised $23.6 million Series A in August 2025, while ViCentra expanded financing to $98 million in early 2026 for its Kaleido system. CeQur's bolus-only, non-programmable design targets patients on multiple daily injections who want simplicity without automated insulin delivery algorithms.

Multiple Daily Injections Create Adherence Barriers

People with diabetes on multiple daily injections face repeated pain and routine disruption. Research shows demand rising for longer-wear, tubeless alternatives that reduce treatment burden without requiring pumps or apps.

Simple 4-Day Patch Targets MDI Users

CeQur Simplicity uses a soft cannula and two-button safety mechanism for water-resistant, on-demand dosing. Clinical data indicate a 50% increase in time-in-range and 1.7% average A1C reduction after 24 weeks. Unlike Omnipod's full AID integration or V-Go's 24-hour basal-plus-bolus approach, CeQur focuses solely on mealtime insulin replacement for Type 2 and some Type 1 patients.

As one company post stated:

"Not a pump. Not a pen. A bolus-only wearable insulin patch."

Commercial Momentum Drives Series E

The round reflects sustained investor confidence following a prior $120 million equity round and recent FDA clearances for 4-day wear and a new 1-unit dosing device. Over 6,000 patients now use the device, with more than 85% pharmacy benefit coverage and average copays under $45 per month.

Insulin Delivery Market Expands Rapidly

The broader insulin delivery devices market stands at $11.49 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach $44.67 billion by 2034 at a 16.55% CAGR. A dedicated insulin patch pumps segment is valued at $1.73 billion growing at 10.8% CAGR. Structural drivers include rising diabetes prevalence and preference for discreet, long-wear options.

Sales Team Expansion Underway

CeQur is hiring territory managers and clinical support roles while presenting real-world evidence from 1,073 adults at ADA 2026. Plans include scaling to a 7-day wear version and additional dosing options to broaden access.
