CARPL.ai Raises $10M Series A for Radiology AI Marketplace

CARPL.ai raised $10M Series A led by IFC for its vendor-neutral radiology AI marketplace aggregating 300+ applications. The platform solves fragmented adoption across hospitals and governments.

CARPL.ai, a Cupertino-based vendor-neutral radiology AI platform, has raised $10M in Series A funding led by IFC (World Bank Group). The platform aggregates 300+ AI applications from 100+ vendors through a single interface for discovery, validation, deployment, and monitoring. The capital will accelerate global expansion and product development across North America, LATAM, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

IFC Backs Emerging Market Diagnostics

The timing aligns with accelerating adoption of radiology AI amid radiologist shortages. Aidoc raised $150M Series E in April 2026, while Qure.ai secured $65M Series D in September 2024. CARPL's vendor-neutral marketplace addresses the fragmentation that proprietary algorithm builders leave unsolved.

Fragmented AI Adoption Stalls Hospitals

Medical imaging generates over 80% of healthcare data, yet more than 1,000 FDA-cleared radiology AI tools remain underutilized due to integration and validation challenges. Hospitals struggle to evaluate performance on their own data or monitor post-deployment drift. Current single-vendor approaches require multiple PACS integrations and lack head-to-head comparison tools.

Marketplace Aggregates 300+ Applications

CARPL provides an infrastructure-agnostic layer with Universal AI Viewer, testing/validation modules, orchestration, and real-time monitoring. Unlike Aidoc or Qure.ai, which develop proprietary algorithms, CARPL aggregates third-party tools for side-by-side evaluation. It holds both FDA 510(k) clearance and CE Mark for the platform itself.

As Farid Fezoua, IFC Global Director, noted:

"Expanding access to high-quality diagnostics in emerging markets is one of the most pressing priorities in global healthcare, and AI is becoming a critical part of the solution."

IFC and Stellaris Signal Dual Mandate

IFC's investment brings emerging-market credibility and procurement access across government systems in Brazil, India, Singapore, Spain, and UAE. Stellaris Venture Partners, which led the prior $6M seed, doubled down on the Series A, signaling execution conviction. The combination validates both global health impact and commercial scalability.

$2.5B Market Growing at 35% CAGR

The AI in medical imaging market stands at $2.5 billion in 2026 and is projected to reach $20.2 billion by 2033 at 35.1% CAGR, according to Grand View Research. deepc raised $30M in its Series A extension in July 2024, while Ferrum Health secured $16M Series A in September 2024. Structural drivers include rising imaging volumes, regulatory clearances, and demand for multi-algorithm governance without vendor lock-in.

CARPL's customers include four of the five largest private radiology groups globally, plus RadNet/DeepHealth, I-MED, and Qscan. Its regulatory clearances span FDA, CE, ANVISA, TGA, and HSA.
