ARC Intelligence (arc-intelligence.de), a Berlin-based provider of an AI-native Finance OS, has raised €4M in seed funding led by 42CAP. The platform ingests data from multiple ERP systems including DATEV, SAP, and NetSuite into a unified ontology layer for multi-entity consolidation, reporting, and AI-driven forecasting without replacing existing systems. The capital will support team growth to around 25 people and expansion into the Netherlands and UK.
Rapid Close Signals Strong Fit
The timing aligns with surging interest in AI-native tools for finance teams handling fragmented ERP landscapes. ARC closed the round in roughly one week. Nominal raised $20M Series A in July 2025 led by Next47 with Workday Ventures. Abacum secured $60M Series B in June 2025 led by Scale Venture Partners.
Fragmented ERPs Slow Finance Teams
Mid-market corporate groups often operate multiple ERP and accounting systems after acquisitions. Manual consolidation and variance analysis consume significant time, with CFOs facing accountant shortages and post-M&A complexity. Current solutions either require lengthy implementations or fail to deliver real-time AI explanations across entities.
Ontology Layer Over Existing Systems
ARC connects disparate ERPs via ETL pipelines and delivers consolidated P&L views with drill-down to individual postings and AI variance analysis. This differs from Nominal’s agentic close focus or Abacum’s broader FP&A scope. The platform achieves 30-day implementation and per-entity pricing from €1,500 monthly.
"The future of enterprise software lies not in replacing existing ERP systems, but in intelligently connecting data, processes, and decisions across system boundaries." — Clemens Wessendorff, CEO
42CAP Backs European B2B Bet
42CAP led with participation from 468 Capital and IBB Ventures. Moritz Zimmermann, who co-founded Hybris and sold it to SAP, joins the board. The investor profile signals conviction in vertical AI operating systems for process-heavy European corporates rather than broad horizontal tools.
AI FP&A Market Accelerates
The FP&A software market stands at $4.8B in 2025 and is projected to reach $11.6B by 2034 at 10.3% CAGR per Dataintelo. AI in FP&A is growing at 34% CAGR from $240.6M in 2024 to $4.8B by 2034 per Market.us. Pigment has raised $397M total while Drivetrain secured $15M. ARC’s DATEV integration positions it uniquely for the German Mittelstand amid generational leadership transitions.
Plans Target European Expansion
With revenue up 10x since its December 2024 pre-seed, ARC intends to triple its team and enter the Netherlands followed by the UK. Partnerships with PE firms Auctus Capital and GENUI already support portfolio deployments.
