The company’s Pearl buoy platform collects passive sonar data while its Obsidian AI software converts raw acoustics into real-time tracks and alerts for operators without sonar expertise. The timing comes amid rising capital into undersea defense technologies. Vatn Systems raised $60M Series A in December 2025. Sofar Ocean Technologies raised an additional $22.3M in January 2026. Andrenam pairs mass-manufacturable Pearl buoys with the Obsidian platform that processes acoustic signals into classifications without requiring operator sonar training.
